The qualifying fees are due at the time of qualifying and must be paid from the potential candidate's campaign account. The total fee consists of a $35 filing fee plus a 1% Election Assessment Fee, which is based on the annual salary of Town Council members and may increase each year pursuant to Ordinance No. 778.
